Exhibit Zones and Stage Backdrop for UKTIN Event in London
The UK Telecoms Innovation Network (UKTIN) is the innovation network for the UK telecoms sector bringing together industry, government stakeholders and academia to catalyse R&D investment, cooperation and commercialisation.
Requirement
Frameset was approached to create four distinct exhibit zones for an event UKTIN were holding in London on 19 March 2025.
-
Zone 1: A meeting room with bifold doors and a 75” screen.
-
Zones 2 and 3: Two mirrored exhibition zones, each with a 50” standalone screen
-
Zone 4: A dedicated stage area requiring a main backdrop, with additional side walls for partitioning.
The client originally booked the venue with a tabletop exhibition setup in mind but later had to revise their plans. This change brought certain venue limitations into effect, including strict setup and space constraints. Only four hours were available for setup on the evening before the event, with all final adjustments required to be completed by 08:00 the next morning.

Solution
Frameset addressed the client’s brief with an efficient and elegant solution:
-
Upstairs: Four 4m x 2.5m illuminated fabric lightboxes were installed, paired with sleek, plain black panels to effectively separate and define each zone without excessive space usage.
-
Downstairs (Stage Area): A 4.8m x 2.4m vibrant main backdrop was installed behind the stage, perfectly framing the presentation screen, enhancing visual impact for speakers and attendees.
Given the tight timelines:
-
A dedicated team of six completed the full installation, including load-in, within three hours—comfortably under the allocated four hours.
-
For dismantling, a smaller team of three efficiently completed de-rig and load-out within the tight 1.5-hour timeframe.
Feedback
“We had a positive experience from start to finish. Very easy to work with and their flexible approach made it easy to handle some last-minute changes to our exhibition design. Service and contact on site and during the build was also excellent.” UKTIN
